Dear Altos Team,

We are currently evaluating the Altos V2 radar and its specifications for potential applications.

Since the Altos V2 is based on a 4-chip cascaded TI processor, we would like to better understand the exact hardware-level antenna characteristics of your module. Could you please provide the effective antenna radiation patterns for the V2?

Specifically, we are looking for the graphs for the effective H-plane (Azimuth) and E-plane (Elevation), showing the antenna gain (in dB) over the angle (Theta) of the cascade radar-- similar to what is typically provided in standard TI hardware reference documentation.

This data would greatly help us technically assess the signal coverage and the performance at the edges of your specified field of view (HFOV 110° / VFOV 23°).

Do you have any corresponding measurement data or documentation that you could share with us?

Dear Mike,

We are unable to provide the effective antenna radiation patterns, as this data is somewhat sensitive. However, I can share approximate figures for the antenna gain roll‑off relative to boresight at several azimuth and elevation angles. I will send this information to you via message. Please let me know if you require any additional data points.
